Fill a large saucepan 3/4 of water and put on hob to boil.
Place the meat on a clean plastic board. It's important to keep raw meat on a separate area that can be easily cleaned and washed down. Slice the frying steak into strips.
Once the water in the saucepan is boiling, add the rice or noodles. Give them a stir to stop them sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Heat some oil in a frying pan and once very hot, add the strips of beef.
Keep frying and stirring, once the meat has turned a light brown colour, add the vegetables a bit at a time.
Keep frying and stirring.
Add a good generous splash of soy sauce and give everything another good stir.
Dissolve the vegetable stock cube in boiling water, and give it a good stir.
Spoon the honey into the stock cube mix and mix it together, then pour it into the frying pan, stirring everything together. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the cashew nuts and once again stir.
Check on the noodles or rice. Try a bit with your fork, if they taste cooked, they're er, cooked, so drain them in a colander and serve them onto a plate
Once the meat is cooked, (so check if it's brown all the way through, nothing pink in the middle), serve up and enjoy.
